• Address. Find an exact house number, street or full UK post code
• Improved: Points of interest. CoPilot Live v8 contains thousands of Points Of Interest such as restaurants and petrol stations. You can choose to navigate to a POI or make a phone call. Includes logos for familiar brands of hotels, restaurants and petrol stations in certain regions.

• Improved: Walking mode with footpath information in towns and cities, a custom map display and useful on-screen compass. A straight line indicator keeps you heading in the right direction towards your destination
• Cycling. Satellite navigation on your bicycle, with voice directions and cycling-specific routes
• RV mode. CoPilot Live v8 can calculate routes better suited to larger vehicles, caravans and Recreational Vehicles. RV routing favours main roads and avoids U-turns where possible.

Advanced navigation features

• New: Text to Speech (Premium Speech option available through CoPilot Central). CoPilot can provide detailed spoken turn instructions using the latest Text to Speech technology to pronounce full street names

• Improved: Safety camera alerts with FREE updates. CoPilot Live v8 has a pre-installed database of over 10,000 camera locations across Europe. As you approach a camera, CoPilot Live provides on screen and spoken warnings, The camera database is regularly updated and can be downloaded for free through CoPilot Central 2.0 desktop software.
Note: safety camera locations are not available in Switzerland, and customers are advised to deactivate camera warnings completely when traveling in Switzerland to comply with local legislation.
• Multiple stop trips and optimisation. Enter-in multiple stops for a single journey. You can select the most efficient route to take using CoPilot's unique 'Optimise' feature
• Pre-trip planning. Work out an itinerary before you leave.

• Save trips. You can import trips from CoPilot Central desktop software
• Congestion charge warnings, warns you in advance if your journey takes you though the London Congestion Charge Zone. It can also recommend an alternative route
• POI alerts. CoPilot can notify you when you approach a specific category of POI, for example a car park

Live Services

• CoPilot Live v8 is the original 'connected' GPS navigation system, providing access to a range of live services via the mobile internet designed to make every journey better. Note: CoPilot's Live services require a mobile Internet connection, which may incur charges from your mobile provider
• New: LiveLink™ Location sharing. a free to use service which lets you see the location of CoPilot friends real-time on your handset.
• New: Live Weather. Displays up-to-date, five day forecasts at the touch of a button
• New: Share location details. Send your current location to friends and family via SMS, MMS or email.
• New: Road Side Assistance. Summon help from a recognised provider of breakdown services from within CoPilot Live. Breakdown membership is required to utilise this facility.
• New: CoPilot OnDemand™. Don't get stranded without navigation. Buy additional maps online and download them directly to your phone via the mobile internet, WiFi or CoPilot Central desktop software. As with all of CoPilot's maps, once they are on your phone you can use them permanently

• Adjustable guidance. You can choose when and how far from a turn you receive spoken instructions

• Change the back light settings. You can choose to have your device's backlight on all the time, with GPS reception or conserve battery power and have it show only close to a turn.
