CoPilot Live Safety Camera Download

ALK Technologies provides CoPilot Live 7/8 customers with access to free Safety Camera Updates covering major European Countries. There is no charge for this service.

The database is updated every 2-4 weeks.

How do I download and install?

CoPilot Live for iPhone
Safety cameras are updated with each free App update.

CoPilot Live for Windows Mobile / Android

  • Click here (updated 05-02-2010) to download the latest monthly update of cameras
  • Extract safetycam.ezp from the safetycam.zip file and place in a directory on your PC
  • Exit CoPilot Live
  • Synchronise your device using ActiveSync to your PC
  • In ActiveSync click EXPLORE
  • CoPilot Live 7 - Browse to \Storage Card\CoPilot\EU\Save
    CoPilot Live 8 - Browse to \Storage Card\CoPilot\Save
  • Copy camera.ezp to this folder
  • Unplug your device from your PC
  • Start CoPilot
  • You will now see an Integrating Update
  • Safety Cameras should now be updated on your device

What program version must I be running?

  • CoPilot Live 7 (v7.0.6.67 or above)
  • CoPilot Live 8

What if I already have Safety Cameras installed from another provider or web site, should I delete it?

  • Yes, CoPilot Live 7 users should delete the \Storage Card\CoPilot\EU\Save\AO*.* files. CoPilot Live 8 users should delete the \Storage Card\CoPilot\Save\AO*.* files
  • Sync up your device to your PC using ActiveSync and then follow the above download instructions above

What countries do Safety Cameras support?

  • UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Benelux, Austria, Portugal, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland

How do I check the version of CoPilot I am running?

  • Go to to MENU | SETTINGS | MORE | MORE | ABOUT to find the version number.
