| 4. Is CoPilot Live | Pocket PC4 compatible with
Windows Mobile 2003 operating system?
Yes, CoPilot Live is compatible with the Windows Mobile 2003 operating
system. Below is information regarding our compatibility if you are
currently running the 2003 operating system or are considering upgrading
to the new operating system.
- The ALK CF GPS (version 1) does not work with the Windows Mobile
2003 operating system. The receiver fails to output data. Therefore
it is not recognized resulting in a message "No GPS signal, Please
check connections" when connected. If your CF GPS has a serial
number that is not within the range of E31950001 - E31950500 you have
a version 1 receiver not compatible with the new operating system.
Please send an email request to techsupport@alk.com
for instructions on how to send back the receiver. We can manually
reset the receiver here to make it compatible with the new operating
system.
- The ALK GPS Jacket is compatible with Windows Mobile 2003 operating
system. If you receive the message below just click "Dismiss."
- The application no longer installs the icon into the Start Menu.
The new OS automatically places the icon in Start/File Explorer/My
Device/Windows/Start Menu/Programs.
